The PundaKtiv Association

About the Association

Pundaktiv is a group of parent volunteers who are involved in the organization and execution of festive and cultural events at the school. The sole purpose of Pundaktiv is to give time for the happiness of the children.

 

We organize, in collaboration with the management, the administrative team and the teaching staff, several projects/events every year. The most important ones are:

  • The big Christmas party – December
  • The carnival – February
  • The school festival (Kermesse) – April/May
  • Creation of the yearbook of the current school year

My name is Marie Noëlle Brevault, and I’m the parent of a Grade 5 student. I’m the president of Pundaktiv, which I joined two years ago. I’m involved in Pundaktiv because I like being present in the environment where my child grows and learns. I truly believe that parents’ involvement in school life can make a real difference in students’ well-being and success.

My name is Almudena, and I’m the mother of two children, including Eva in Grade 9. I work for the Delegation of the European Union, and this was our first year in Nairobi. In September 2024, during the Pundaktiv presentation when volunteers were needed, I thought: “Why not volunteer? They need parents!” And that’s how I decided to join this great adventure.

Jérôme Pelloussat, 53, married with three children, including a 14-year-old daughter attending the Lycée. He arrived in Kenya in early August 2025. A retired defense helicopter pilot, he is currently retraining as a sommelier.

I’m Panawe Bamisso, parent of two children attending the school. I’m an engaged and dynamic person, always ready to bring my energy and enthusiasm to collective projects. I joined Pundaktiv because I believe in the importance of creating positive memories around school life through festive and cultural events that bring people together.
