CP students at the Lycée Français Denis Diderot de Nairobi recently took part in a unique and meaningful experience: camping overnight at school.
For many children, spending the night away from home was a big step. This project was carefully designed to support autonomy and emotional growth, within a safe and caring environment.
Throughout the evening, students enjoyed activities that encouraged cooperation and learning through play: a treasure hunt, tent pitching, songs, and shared moments around a symbolic campfire thoughtfully prepared by the team.
Laughter, excitement and pride filled the evening.
The night, restful for some, shorter for others, unfolded calmly, and the next morning, all students left with smiles, confidence, and shared memories.
This initiative highlights the value of educational projects that combine learning, wellbeing and personal development.
Congratulations to the teaching staff for their dedication and creativity.
