As part of an educational initiative from the Southern and Eastern Africa zone, our kindergarten classes took on a unique challenge: a No Paper Day. No worksheets, no photocopies — just exploration, creativity, and active learning.
Throughout the day, the children engaged in a variety of meaningful hands-on activities:
-
Tracing in the sand, chalk writing in the playground
-
Working with abacuses
-
Building games and modeling clay
-
Observing living organisms through magnifying glasses
-
Outdoor and indoor motor activities
This special day brought learning back to its essence: sensation, movement, play, and discovery. The students were fully engaged, curious, and motivated.
A big bravo to our passionate and creative kindergarten teachers who made it all possible!
