A Visit Marked by Dialogue and Development

On 11 November, the Lycée Français International Denis Diderot of Nairobi had the honour of welcoming Madame Samantha Cazebonne, Senator for French citizens living abroad.

This visit was an opportunity to present the school’s recent renovation and modernization projects carried out over the past two years, including:

  • the motor skills room,

  • the library (BCD),

  • the kindergarten buildings,

  • and the elementary school playground, currently undergoing transformation.

These developments reflect LFIDD’s ongoing commitment to providing students with an engaging, safe, and forward-looking learning environment.

Madame Cazebonne also met with staff representatives during an informal lunch, followed by an exchange with the members of the High School Student Council (CVL). Discussions focused on student concerns, their aspirations, and their growing role as active young citizens.

The visit concluded with a meeting involving parent representatives and members of the management committee, highlighting once again the importance of dialogue and collaboration within our school community.

By hosting this official visit, LFIDD reaffirms its identity as a school in full development, committed to continuous improvement and aligned with the values of the AEFE network: openness, excellence, cooperation, and care.
