At the Lycée Français International Denis Diderot, Physical Education plays an essential role in our students’ development. In line with the French National Education program, high school students have 2 hours of PE per week, supervised by their teachers.
Recently, they took part in acrosport sessions outdoors. This discipline, which combines acrobatics and collective choreography, emphasizes key values:
-
Trust and cooperation: each student relies on their partner to build figures safely.
-
Creativity and body expression: students design original routines where movement becomes art.
-
Pushing limits: developing strength, balance, and coordination as a team.
Acrosport is more than just a sport: it is a complete educational activity that nurtures not only physical skills but also social and emotional growth.
Through regular practice, our students gain not only better fitness but also self-confidence and solidarity – valuable assets for their academic and personal journey.
