The CE2A students set off on an incredible Class trip to the Aberdares Mountain, a week filled with adventure, learning, and unforgettable memories!
During their stay, the students got a firsthand look at how coffee and tea are made, two of Kenya’s biggest industries. At a coffee factory, they saw the process of sorting, drying, and packaging coffee beans before they are roasted. They also had the chance to pick tea leaves and visit a tea cooperative to understand how it all works.
But this trip wasn’t just about learning—it was also about experiencing nature. The students went on forest hikes, built bamboo huts, and even planted trees, helping to protect the environment.
Beyond the activities, this trip was a time for fun and friendship. They visited a village library, went on a treasure hunt, cooked meals together, and ended the trip with a campfire night roasting marshmallows and a big dance party!
This Class trip was more than just a school outing—it was a chance to learn in a different way, gain independence, and build stronger bonds as a class. A week of discovery, adventure, and memories that will last a lifetime!
