Congratulations to Valérie Boulanger, winner of the 2024 European Innovative Teaching Award

The European Innovative Teaching Award, established by the European Commission in 2021, annually recognizes groundbreaking projects carried out within the Erasmus+ framework. This prestigious award highlights educational initiatives that contribute to improving teaching in Europe, with a focus on diversity, innovation, and impact.

Valérie Boulanger, a teacher-trainer at LFIDD, is the winner of the 2024 edition for a remarkable project she led at École Élémentaire Jules Ferry before joining LFIDD.

Her initiative tackled significant challenges, including promoting students’ languages and cultures, enhancing teachers’ language skills, and fostering a positive school climate. Actions included English-taught lessons using the CLIL method, multilingual and cultural workshops, and practices focused on well-being, such as meditation and non-violent communication.

Through this project, Valérie Boulanger successfully turned challenges into opportunities, inspiring both students and teachers alike. This award recognizes her outstanding commitment to inclusive and innovative education, a dedication she continues to bring to our school!
