On January 14, 2025, the Lycée Français International Denis Diderot welcomed Mr. Rambaud Measson, Project Finance and M&A Associate at Finergreen, for an inspiring presentation to our Year 11 students as part of their science curriculum.
This engaging session explored key global energy and environmental challenges while aligning closely with the students’ coursework. Highlights included:
- Foundations of renewable energy : definitions, main sources (solar, wind, hydro, biomass, etc.), and their applications in electricity, transportation, and heating.
- Global electrification challenges : an analysis of disparities across continents, with a particular focus on Africa, and a discussion of how access to electricity impacts health, gender equality, and economic growth.
- Career prospects : insights into emerging professions and opportunities in the dynamic field of renewable energy.
In addition to expanding their scientific knowledge, this session allowed students to better understand critical environmental and societal issues while exploring sustainable and innovative solutions.
This event reflects our school’s commitment to providing meaningful, real-world educational opportunities that prepare students to tackle global challenges.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to Mr. Rambaud Measson for sharing his expertise, enthusiasm, and valuable time with our community.
