Guidance and Openness: Inspiring Encounters at LFIDD

Over the past two weeks, students at the Lycée Français Denis Diderot had the opportunity to engage with high-quality guest speakers to help them reflect on their post-secondary future.

First, they met Rosalie Lebleu, a former LFDD student who is now studying law at the Sorbonne University in Paris. During a virtual session, Rosalie shared her academic journey, the level of discipline required in law school, and what daily life is like as a young student in the French capital. Her honest and lively testimony was both reassuring and motivating, offering students a chance to ask questions freely and gain real insight into university life.

The following week, our high school students were excited to meet representatives from two prestigious French higher education institutions: EDHEC Business School and CESI Engineering School. These professionals presented their academic programs, innovative teaching methods, international opportunities, and admission requirements.

Beyond the practical information, one key message stood out: motivation, personal commitment, and curiosity are essential to succeeding in higher education.

These encounters are part of LFIDD’s ongoing guidance and orientation support, where each student is encouraged to confidently shape a future that reflects who they are.
