At the Lycée Français Denis Diderot of Nairobi, CM2 and 6ème students led a poetic and artistic project around the theme of light.
After exploring the works of the Age of Enlightenment and studying the vocabulary of light, they created real classroom museums, bringing together reflections, contrasts, and shadow play.
They then wrote collective poetic texts, inspired by the artworks they had brought to life.
Their creations will be showcased in an immersive installation — to be discovered by flashlight — offering a unique artistic and sensory experience.
A project that perfectly illustrates the richness of teaching at LFIDD: learning differently, through interdisciplinary work and by cultivating creativity.
