After several training sessions at school, our CE1 and CE2 students ventured into Ngong Forest for their final orienteering challenge.
Orienteering is an outdoor sport where participants navigate through a course marked by checkpoints, using a simplified map or an orientation map – and sometimes a compass. More than just a race, it teaches children to think strategically, manage their effort, and make decisions independently.
This outing was an opportunity to put theory into practice in a real environment, and to strengthen key skills such as observation, perseverance and self-confidence. Despite the rain, our students rose to the challenge with energy, determination and smiles on their faces!
A big bravo to all the students and thank you to the teaching team for guiding them through this great learning experience!
