As part of the Poetry Festival 2025 at the Lycée Français International Denis Diderot, our 6th-grade students took on a poetic challenge by learning Magma, a poem by Pierre Coran.
Throughout the preparation weeks, regular training sessions helped students strengthen key oral communication skills: pronunciation, intonation, expressiveness, and attentive listening. Each session became an opportunity to improve, gain confidence, and connect with the poet’s words.
The final performances were a true reflection of their efforts : powerful, expressive, and full of energy. The entire class delivered with enthusiasm and creativity, showcasing how poetry can unite and inspire.
