At the Lycée Français International Denis Diderot of Nairobi, an international school in Nairobi and part of the AEFE network, Cycle 3 and Grade 6 students took part in an innovative project combining robotics, coding, and visual arts.
The goal was to program an mBot robot to complete several challenges within an environment entirely designed and built by the students. This life-size artistic setting made the project both immersive and engaging.
Students successfully tackled six technical challenges: landing the robot, escaping a dead end, crossing a crater, avoiding a meteorite, taking photos, and following a line.
This STEM education project highlights LFIDD’s commitment to hands-on learning, problem-solving, and creativity.
Guided by their teachers, students developed key skills in coding, logic, teamwork, and innovation.
Such initiatives reinforce LFIDD’s position as a leading French international school in Nairobi, offering high-quality and forward-thinking education.
