The CM1A students took on an exciting challenge: building and launching their own water rocket!
After studying the structure of a rocket, they used a sparkling water bottle for the fuselage, crafted a paper nose cone, and attached cardboard fins. For the launch, they filled the bottle with water and sealed it with a cork fitted with an air pump nozzle.
As the pressurized water was expelled, the rocket soared into the sky! The more water in the bottle, the greater the pressure—and the higher the rocket climbed.
A hands-on, fun-filled experiment that our students carried out from start to finish with great enthusiasm.
Well done, CM1A!
