Taste Day 2024

Taste Week, from 14 to 20 October 2024, is a nationwide campaign to educate people about taste and promote culinary heritage. Since 1990, the Week of Taste has been a biggest mobilisation in France between those involved in taste and their publics.
In our school, a Taste Day was organised for Cycle 1 classes on Friday 18 October 2024. Our teaching team organised a number of workshops to encourage the visual and olfactory discovery of vegetables and fruit, learn about different types of bread, try their hand at making bread dough and discover the smell and appearance of certain spices. The 5 nursery classes were all able to visit all the workshops on offer, thanks in no small part to the help of the many parent volunteers who came to run an activity stand.
