The little reading champions at LFIDD

On January 22, LFIDD hosted the local finals of the Petits Champions de la Lecture, a competition celebrating the joy of reading and public speaking. Our CM1 and CM2 students captivated the audience with literary excerpts of their choice, presenting before a distinguished jury:

  • M. Bernard Clouteau ,French Cooperation Attaché at the French Embassy in Kenya,
  • M. Dixon Migiro, LFIDD Board President,
  • Ms. Laurenne Mathieu, children’s author and teacher,
  • Ms. Tya-Christina Meyer , LFIDD Communications Officer.

The little reading champions is a national program designed to inspire a love for reading while boosting students’ confidence. At LFIDD, this initiative highlights our dedication to bilingualism and the holistic development of our students.
