Training to better support: A new session for our preschool assistants (ASEM)
At LFIDD, ongoing professional development is a key part of the high-quality education we provide. Yesterday, our ASEM (Preschool Teaching Assistants) took part in their second training session, in close collaboration with the kindergarten teaching team.
The session focused on essential elements of the ASEM’s educational role:
🔹 Supporting learning in the classroom
🔹 Running effective semi-guided workshops
🔹 Using professional techniques to engage children, guide them, and support language development
It was a valuable opportunity for teachers and assistants to reflect together, share practices, and strengthen their teamwork, all in the service of our youngest learners.
