On November 5th, the Spanish Department of the Lycée Français International Denis Diderot, in partnership with the Embassy of Mexico, celebrated the traditional Mexican Día de los Muertos.
During the event, 3ème students created and presented colorful and symbolic altars in honor of significant figures from the Spanish-speaking world. This project, combining culture, creativity, and research, offered students a deeper understanding of Mexican traditions while encouraging artistic expression and cultural curiosity.
The celebration took place in the LFIDD auditorium and brought together the school community for a vibrant, meaningful, and educational moment.
Thank you to Coralie Montocchio, Spanish teacher at LFIDD, who led this project with her students.
