After nearly three months of preparation, students from the Lycée Français International Denis Diderot of Nairobi, an international school in Nairobi and member of the AEFE network, are ready to take part in the AEFE “Défi des Secondes”, a major regional sports competition.
Supported by their PE teachers, students trained weekly with dedication, developing key skills such as teamwork, resilience, and perseverance.
Starting Monday, they will travel to Angola, where they will compete against seven other AEFE schools in events including tug of war, flag rugby, 3×3 basketball, sprint relay, and a francophonie quiz.
Beyond the competition, this event represents a meaningful human and collective experience, allowing students to challenge themselves and represent their school internationally.
The entire LFIDD community wishes them the very best of luck in this exciting adventure.
