Africa Forward Summit 2026 in Nairobi: LFIDD Football Academy U15 Students Experience an Unforgettable Youth for Sports Forum
On May 11, 2026, the U15 students of the football academy of the Lycée Français International Denis Diderot experienced an exceptional day during the Youth for Sports Forum, held as part of the prestigious Africa Forward Summit at the University of Nairobi.
Alongside Kenyan young athletes and stakeholders committed to African youth development, our students took part in a major event dedicated to sport, education, and cooperation between France and Kenya.
On the field, the LFIDD football academy U15 students proudly represented their school, delivering an outstanding performance against several local teams and securing a remarkable second place thanks to their commitment, teamwork, and determination.
Beyond the matches, this day will remain deeply engraved in their memory because of the encounters and emotions experienced. Some of the U15 football academy players had the rare opportunity to exchange passes with President William Ruto, President Emmanuel Macron, and President Bassirou Diomaye Faye.
A powerful, symbolic, and deeply inspiring moment for these young athletes, proud to represent their school in an international event highlighting African youth.

Since the launch of the football academy, these students have demonstrated exemplary dedication, supported with passion by Coach Papi, who guides them, supports them, and believes in them every day.
