On Monday, March 11, the first graders celebrated the 100th school day! Since the beginning of the school year, our pupils have been taking part in a ritual to discover the decimal numbering system and the construction of numbers. This interdisciplinary mathematics project involved mathematics, writing, visual arts, physical education and sports… All the students took part in a challenge aimed at understanding the number 100. Challenges include:
- Make 100 pancakes
- Count 100 tokens
- Solving a 100-piece puzzle
- 100 jumps
- Color 100 points
- Represent 100 using cubes
Here’s a look back at their achievements!
